Dogma

Dogma is a fundamental teaching or principle within a specific religion that is accepted as absolute truth, is beyond doubt, and is not subject to debate. Originating from the Greek word «dogma» (opinion, decision, decree), this concept forms the unshakable foundation of any traditional religion. For instance, the belief in a single God in Islam or the concept of the Trinity in Christianity are dogmas, the denial of which is equated with the destruction of the very foundations of the faith.
