Extremism (Religious) encompasses radical actions aimed at imposing one’s religious views on society through coercive or illegal methods. Originating from the Latin word «extremus» (extreme), such actions most often sow fear in society and escalate into violence. Religious extremism has nothing in common with true religion, using it merely as an instrument for destructive purposes, which is why such manifestations are strictly prohibited by law in secular states.
